ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION “DE-OCCUPATION OF CRIMEA: THE WEST’S NON-RECOGNITION POLICY AND THE BALTIC LESSONS LEARNED”
The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Hungary together with the Embassies of Estonia, the Republic of Latvia, Ukraine and the Centre for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Democracy are organizing the event titled “DE-OCCUPATION OF CRIMEA: the West’s Non-Recognition Policy and the Baltic Lessons Learned” to be held on 6th of March, Wednesday, at 2.00 p.m.
The event will comprise the roundtable discussion with participation of Laurynas Kasčiūnas (Member of Parliament, Republic of Lithuania), Henrik Mägi (Adviser of the Finance Committee, Parliament of Estonia), István Gyarmati (Ambassador, Professor, Board member of the Centre for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Democracy, Hungary), Hennadiy Maksak (Head of the Foreign Policy Council “Ukrainian Prism”, Ukraine) and Andis Kudors (Member of the board, Executive director, researcher of the Centre for East European Policy Studies, Republic of Latvia). The discussion will be followed by a questions and answers session.
The event is public, but a registration is required via e-mail: emb_hu@mfa.gov.ua by 5th of March.
The event will take place at the Center of Ukrainian Culture and Documentation, 1065 Budapest, Hajos street 1. Registered guests are expected to arrive from 1.45 p.m.
The event will be held in English.
