Lithuanian Delegation at the University

2015/06/06, Sat - 10:25 On Friday the Lithuanian Ambassador to Hungary visited Debrecen University in the interests of building relations.

Rasa Kairienė, and minister counsellor Dalia Sukackiené arrived at the University with their escort and were met by Elek Bartha, the Deputy Rector for educational affairs.

The ambassador – informed of the wide range of courses at the university – was surprised to learn that among the four thousand foreign students studying at the university, just one was her compatriot, although in the Erasmus+ programme Debrecen University has links with six Lithuanian partners, in the fields of agricultural sciences, law, humanities and economics.

The delegation received a positive impression of Debrecen University during their visit, and in the future would like to further develop their cooperation.
