230th anniversary of the Constitution of 3 May and of Mutual Pledge of the Commonwealth of the Two Nations

Lithuania and Poland mark the 230th anniversary of the Constitution of 3 May and Mutual Pledge of the Commonwealth of the Two Nations.

A joint remote festive sitting of the Lithuanian and Polish parliaments was held in Vilnius and in Warsaw. Also, a ceremony was held in the Royal Castle in Warsaw and a discussion on the future of Europe was held with regional state leaders.

President Gitanas Nausėda and the First Lady payed a visit to Poland on Monday. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited Vilnius on Sunday.

The day also has been commemorated in Hungary: articles of the ambassadors of Lithuania and Poland - of H.E. Vytautas Pinkus and of H.E.  Jerzy Snopek, - were published in the "Magyar Nemzet", on a page dedicated for 230th anniversary of May 3 Constitution.
