Visas on behalf of other Schengen states

Schengen visa issuance on behalf of the Republic of Lithuania

Diplomatic missions and consular posts, which represent Lithuania, can accept visa applications and issue Schengen visas only to the citizens of their state of residence and to those citizens of the third states, who have a residence permit of this state.

Please note, that Hungarian diplomatic representations and consular posts, which represent Lithuania in the issuing of visas, accept visa applications only from the citizens of their state of residence and from those citizens of the third states, who are staying in this state legally.

We suggest that foreigners, who seek to receive a visa for entering Lithuania at the Hungarian missions listed above, contact the chosen mission in advance and clarify the issue of other supporting documents that the foreigner should submit in order to receive a visa for entering Lithuania and also the procedure of visa issuance.

The Common Application Centre, operating in the Embassy of Slovenia in Montenegro, Podgorica, can accept visa applications and issue Schengen visas on behalf of Lithuania to the citizens of Montenegro.
